This Week’s NATE WOULD LIKE TO SEE: The Rocketeer flying while carrying something heavy. You have til Sunday night to draw it. 

Last week, I started a #NATEWOULDLIKETOSEE hashtag on Twitter. I said I’d like to see Ben Grimm (The Thing) fighting anything while holding an ice cream cone. I said I would retweet all the pics I got. I was kinda thinking 3 or 4 people would doodle something.

I got 52. 

SO! In response to this lovely response, and in an effort to not retweet a bazillion pics to all my followers (cuz let’s face it, after 15 or so retweets featuring depictions of the same thing, I’d unfollow someone too), I’m going to set some #NATEWOULDLIKETOSEE rules:

1. Every Monday, I will tweet #NATEWOULDLIKETOSEE. You draw the thing I’d like to see, then tweet it, including my twitter handle (@NateCosBOOM) and #NATEWOULDLIKETOSEE in the tweet.

2. The following Monday morning, I will pick the top 7 (yes, 7. Cuz 10 gets all the glory) and post them on my blog. Then I will do a new #NATEWOULDLIKETOSEE the same day. Meaning you’ve got til Sunday night to send it.

3. IMPORTANT: You do NOT necessarily have to be a good artist (or an artist at all) in order to play. I draw stuff all the time, and I can’t draw. I’m picking these based on equal parts good-lookingness and creative-comeupwithness.

Thanks to ALL you peeps that drew Ben! I really appreciate you playing along, and I wish I could post all of these, but then I’d never get anything else done (I’ve got a bulldog to play with).
